Combining the world of sponsorship with business development training, 'How to Attract More Sponsors'' is a practical one day sponsorship workshop that will invigorate your approach to securing sponsors and corporate partners, increase your confidence in approaching prospects and give you more control of the sponsorship seeking process.

Anyone involved in approaching companies for sponsorships and partnerships who has a genuine desire to improve their or their team’s performance.
What you will receive in the sponsorship workshop
In a small group setting (maximum 20 participants), the sponsorship workshop will take you on a journey through the key stages of the sponsorship seeking process.

Richard has provided sponsorship and business development consulting, training and coaching to organisations such as Taronga Zoo, Melbourne International Film Festival, Single Market Events, Heart Foundation, Australian String Quartet, Outback Queensland Tourism, National Gallery of Australia, Royal Botanic Gardens, Meetings & Events Australia and Schizophrenia Research Institute as well as the many organisations that have attended his public programs.
Richard has held marketing roles in Australia and UK for Commonwealth Bank, Telstra Stadium, Sydney Opera House, KPMG and the RAC. He has worked as a communication skills trainer and on both sides of sponsorship. During his time at CBA, the Bank won the National Sponsorship Awards in both the Sport and Community & Cultural categories.
Richard is a frequent speaker on sponsorship at industry conferences speaking at the Australian Sponsorship Marketing Association (ASMA) annual conference in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009, the FIA International Fundraising Conference in 2007, 2008 and 2010, the International Not for Profit Convention & Exhibition (INCE) in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, the Professional Conference Organisers Association Conference in 2008 and 2009, the Asia Pacific Association Executives Congress (APAEC) in 2008 and Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) National Conference in 2007.

Each participant will receive a workbook containing checklists on topics such as presenting, writing proposals and using the telephone for sales calls as well as Richard’s 25 tips to Attract More Business.

Subject to availability, a place will be reserved for you at the workshop for 14 days and a tax invoice will be sent to you via email. In the event that the workshop is over subscribed you will have the opportunity to be wait listed.

Refunds: Full refunds will be paid where a cancellation of registration is received in writing at least 21 days before the workshop. Within 21 days of the workshop, no refunds will be permitted.
