Purpose Vision Motivation

It's very easy to get bogged down in the day to day of our roles and forget the bigger picture and benefit of why we do what we do. When this happens it can often lead to a loss of motivation.

Whether we set out to build the best business, help the homeless or find a cure for a disease we need to ensure that we are in a positive resourceful state -  a state where we are motivated and can operate at our best.

One strategy for regaining a positive resourceful state is to reconnect with the original vision of what we set out to achieve - the purpose in what we do.

Reconnecting with our vision allows us to gain greater perspective, clarity and motivation which in turn drives our performance.

In this short video extract from my key note conference talk, Maximising Performance - Being the best you can be,  I discuss the concept further.
